On LOI 48/09 LATERAL ENTRY PROGRAM CY 2009, forty seven (47) PNCOs successfully entered the PCO ranks thru the lateral entry program and took their Oath of Office last January 18, 2010 right after the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the PRO1 Grandstand.
The activity was officiated by PCSUPT CONSTANTE DAVIS AZARES JR, Acting Regional Director and emphasized to the new Police Inspectors to be Proficient, Dedicated and Law Abiding Police Officers.
Based on LOI 70/09 (2nd Semester CY 2009 PO1 Recruit Program PRO1 accepted and processed six hundred forty four (644) interested applicants who are spiring to join the PNP Organization. After thorough evaluation and screeing of the Regional Screening Committee(RSC) chaired by PCSUPT MANUEL H. CACHERO, ARD EVANGELINE R. ALMIRANTE of NAPOLCOM as Vice-Chair, MS. CORAZON SALINDONG of DILG, COL. PATERNO M. ORDUNA of RPOC Representative and MRS. BLANCHITA I. IGANACIO of Woment's Represantive Sector as Members, one hundred nineteen (119) qualified applicants successfully passed to fill-up the allocated quota of 120 to Police Regional Office 1.
For Letter of Instruction 36/09 (CY 2009 2nd LEVEL REGULAR PROMOTION PROGRAM), this office processed the promotion of best qualified Police Commissioned officers (PCOs) and Non-promotional vacancies with the ranks of PO2, PO3, SPO1, SPO2, SPO3, SPO4, PINSP, PSINSP, PCINSP and PSUPT.
