Police Regional Office-1 is the home of
the Citizen Friendly Policemen. To accomplish its tasks of law
enforcement and maintenance of peace and order, PRO-1 is organized into
1 RMG, 4 PPO's, 7 PMG's and 125 City/Municipal Police Stations. Police
Regional Office-1 covers the area of Ilocos region comprising of four
(4) provinces namely Ilocos Norte, Ilocus Sur, La Union ang Pangasinan.
Considered as the Gateway to the Northern Luzon Growth Quandrangle,
Region-1 shares common boundaries with other regions through Benguet,
Cagayan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Viscaya and Zambales Provinces. |
